Trackday
Preparation
Everyone love trackday and ripping up the
tarmac . But , before that , don't forget to prep yourself
and your bike . Especially your protection .
- Gaffer tape ( electrical tape works fine too )
- Food and drinks
- Clear and chrome visor for your helmet
- Cash for track registering and refueling
- Slider or Knee guard
- Cable-tie
|
- Riding suit
- Riding boots
- Back Protector
- Body Armor
- Tyre pressure gauge
- Earplug
|
Prepare your bike for trackday
- First , remove your numberplate . It may bust and leave
on the track . that is if you crash or fall of your bike
. Don't forget to remove your mirrors . Then use a cable
tie through the mirror bolt-holes . This will make sure
the fairing stayed in it's position .
- Onward ! Make sure the bike is in perfect condition .
Check the controls mounting , wheels , tyre , swingarm bearing
, chain , sprockets , etc . Make sure the chain adjustment
is correct .
- Install crash protector . Use those engine mounting point
.
- Tape up your headlights , signal indicators , brake light
and most of all the speedometer . You can't scare yourself
if the speedometer is taped , right ? . My bike does't need
that because mine only have digital tachometer and fuel
gauge .
