Audio System
Audio
System
Okay , this mod is a stupid move for a sportbike
. Scooter ? Maybe . Sportbike ? What are you cracy ? . Maybe
that's was what on your mind right now . Well , not for
me . I think .
The first year since i buy my bike , I was
a slow rider . My top speed that year never reach 50kmh
. So I dicided to build my own entartainment system myself
.
The wire and the amplifier i use
|
The picture above show a 200 watt
amplifier . Actually the amp is only 70 watt . Well
Duhh . The amp is too small for a 200 watt amp .
That marketing word for marketing strategy .
|
I only use Walkman for the input player .
Most of the modified scooters here use car's compact disc
player . In my case , where the hell I can put it . There's
no room for it . I also install a small equalizer to the
bike . Hmm my bike has become a moving disco !! Wahahahahaha
......
80
watt Audio Storm speaker's
|
A relay
|
I use two Audio Storm speakers . The speakers
is 4inch size and 80 watt of power each . The speakers
I'm using is specially made for 'bass' song such as Maximum
Techno . For the amp power source , I use the ignition
system power source . Therefore , I can't use it frequently
because it can drain up the battery .
REWIRING
Item
that I use :-
This is the second wiring for the audio system .
I use flexible electrical hose to put all the wire's
.
|
I have to make the wiring AGAIN because some
idiot at my school switch 'on' the amp power switch . As
I said earlier , the amp using the same power source to
the ignition system . So that idiot drain my ONLY battery
. I have to push my bike home ! If I know who did it , I
could kill him . But if that idiot is a she , maybe just
maybe I just punish her a little bit . Hehehehe . If you
know what I mean .
that's the new switch I installed
|
The speaker's new location
|
I started the rewiring as soon I reach home
PUSHING my bike . It took me 9 hours to finish it . The
first switch located under the meter casing and the other
one located under the seat . To power up the amp , both
switch must be switched 'on' .
note : One month after I rewiring it , I disassemble
the audio system because two reason . First , if the audio
system is short-circuit , the ignition system could damaged
as well . Second , as all of you know , sport bikes are
high rev and ment for high speed use . So sport bikes are
not the suitable for audio system .
Pro & Con
Pro :- I travel a lot . As all of you knows
that my bike is a two stroke bike , so I can't maintain
a high speed traveling . Usually I speed up to 100kmh and
traveled about 160km every weekend . Usually it takes about
3 1/2 hours to reach my destination and thinking of that
time only makes me boring like hell , so to keep me busy
, i switch ' on ' the audio system and crank up the volume
.
Con :- A two stroke machine at high speed
will cause the engine and the muffler makes a lot of noise
. Even the amp is set to the highest volume plus the fullface
I wear , I can't hear anything at all . So I only use it
when I want to cruse around the town and I have to wear
open face helmet to hear the sound . It also can drain the
battery .
